Ghost Image 6
Buying a TV set
isn't what it used
to be. Just ask
Steve. He just
bought one that
has remote con
trol, stereo speak
ers, state-of-the-
art picture quality
and ... a little something extra.
This week's At Ease features fiction,
some ideas for you last-minute costume
shoppers, a suggestion for tripping the
light fantastic tonight and the return of
that cool dude of advice columns, your
pal and his, Uncle Leonard.
"Ghost Image" is the story of a guy
named Steve who gets more than he
bargains for when he buys a television.
The set he purchases provides a picture
that is so clear, sharp and beautiful that
it's... a little seductive. But there may
be more behind the screen than a pic
ture tube and electronic circuits.
Uncle Leonard returns! 10
The mustachioed madman is back in all of his un
tamed glory. If you’ve got a problem, he can solve it
for you without even thinking. If you don’t have a
problem, he can create one for you. He’s been called
“Mr. Rock ’N’ Roll of the advice column” but here at
At Ease, we just call him Uncle Len. Then we pay him
and ask him to go away.
