t the Academic Building I
questioned three liberal arts
majors. Wendy Motooka and
Eddie Martinez, both senior
economics majors, and Kristin
Serstab, a senior modern lan
guages major.
Wendy and Eddie had no
opinion about the most roman
tic restaurant in town but Kris
tin answered correctly.
“Steak and Ale because it’s
dark,” she said (blushing as
soon as she realized she’d just
said that in front of Eddie).
Fajita Ritas was unamimous
for all three but Eddie sup
ported his answer with an ar
gument and went into an expla
nation of why fajitas were so
good at Fajita Ritas.
“They’re not fajitas in the
first place,” he said. “They’re
sirloin strips which is why it
tastes so good. And it’s prettier
than the fajitas you get at De
luxe Burger Bar.”
Even when it comes to taste,
count on Liberal Arts majors to
retain their sense of aesthetics.
Score: Kristin: 2, Wendy: 1,
Eddie: 0. Eddie lost his point
for talking bad about Deluxe
Burger Bar.

was unanimous again, with De

lost point back by compliment
ing the atmosphere.
“I like the atmosphere,” he
said, “and iVe been going there
for years and years so I feel
really comfortable. You can
stay and talk as long as you like.
It’s a cool place to hang
around.”

die bombed with the has-been
Charlie’s, but Kristin answered
right. All three missed the de
livery question with answers of
Deb’s Deli and Pizza Hut, but
the liberal arts majors at the
Academic Building still won the
Best of College Station Contest.
Final score: Kristin— 4,
Wendy— 2, Eddie— 2. Total
for the Academic Building: 7.
Editors’ Note: Although we
trust Molly’s taste in most
things, we think her sense of
smell must be off. In the fajita
category, La Taqueria and
Tortilla Factory gets kudos for
authenticity and flavor but
loses points because their
chips aren’t free. Ken Martins'
new Fajita Grill is the other
front-runner, disqualified be
cause they don’t serve beer.
