—Wheelchair Basketball Game will be played tonight, Monday,
February 24. The Houston Rollin’ Cougars will take on the TAMU
Handicapped Athletes. Game time is at 6 PM on the Main Floor of G.
Rollie White.
-The Freethrow Contest is Tuesday, February 25 from 7-10 PM
on the Main Floor of G. Roilie White. Individuals who did not preregis
ter may enter at the site on an availability basis only.
—The Basketball Playoffs have begun with the All-University Fi
nals slated for Thursday, March 13 on the Main Floor of G. Rollie
White. Come on out to see some “class” action.
-Softball league play has begun. Teams that did not pick up their
schedules may do so in the Intramural-Recreational Sports Office,
Room 159 Read Bldg.
-Rates for Outdoor Equipment Rental for Spring Break have been
reduced. Reserve equipment at least two weeks in advance in the In

A member of McFad Flirts controls the ball against a member of Class
B All U Champs Kruegerands.
-The Men’s LaCrosse team will be at Sam Houston on Saturday,
March 1 then will come home to play Southwestern on Sunday,
March 2 at 11 AM on Simpson Drill Field.
-The Men’s Rugby team will be playing the Dallas Reds in Dallas
on Saturday, March 1.

ENTRIES CLOSE
Tennis Doubles- Grab your partner and hurry down to the IM-Rec Office in
159 Read. Entries close tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 25. Matches consist of
best two out of three sets, with 4-point games (no ad). Participants must
furnish their own racquets and a new, unopened can of balls, otherwise
they forfeit. The winning team keeps the unopened can from each match.
No entry fee.
ENTRIES OPEN
Wrestling-Sorry, Wrestling fans-no headlocks, no body slams, and no fig
ure-four leg locks. NCAA Rules apply for IM Wrestling. Entries open Mon
day, Feb. 24 and close Friday, March 7. Mandatory weigh-in will be Monday,
March 10 at 4:30 in the Men’s Locker Room, 173 Read. Matches begin
Tuesday, March 11 at 8 p.m.. Anyone who has wrestled for TAMU within
the past two years is ineligible for this contest. No entry fee.
Table Tennis Doubles-Table Tennis anyone? Or Ping Pong ayone? Entries
open Monday, Feb. 24 and close Tuesday, March 4. Play begins Tuesday,
March 11 in 304 Read Bldg. USTTA Rules will apply. Matches consist of
best two out of three games to 21 points. There is no entry fee.
Ready to enjoy the beautiful
weather? Got spring fever? The
Intramural-Recreational Sports
Department is offering a back
packing trip to Pedernales Falls
State Park on April 4-6. Cost for
the trip is $35.00 and includes
group camping equipment, food,
transportation costs and an ex
perienced guide. This trip is
geared towards the beginner
and the intermediate back
packer. An orientation meeting
will be held before the trip.
Trip leader is Tony Boone
who is certified as an outdoor
leader and instructor by the Wil
derness Education Association
and as an Emergency Medical
Technician. Sign-ups for the trip
will begin on March 1 in the In
tramural-Recreational Sports Of
fice, Room 159 Read Building.
