Do you keep eating long after you’re full? Chances are, your insatiable hunger is for something more than food. You could be one of the millions of people who use food to fill an emptiness inside. A feeling of rejection. Frustration. Or loneliness. Yet the more you eat, the lonelier and more unhappy you become. It’s a vicious cycle. But it’s not your fault. It’s a disease called Bulimia or Bulimarexia. No one can recover by themselves. Will power doesn’t help. Dieting and pills only make the problem worse. Even therapy isn’t always successful. Ours is one of the nation’s leading eating disorder programs. It’s successful because we treat our patients’ physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs. And we help them to recover in an atmosphere of warmth and caring. Call us. We understand the pain and frus tration you’re feeling. We know what you’re going through. Faculty Senate to meet Monday By MARYBETH ROHSNER Staff Writer The Faculty Senate may investi gate Texas A&M’s business holdings in white-controlled South Africa il the Faculty Senate adopts a resolu tion on Monday providing for explo ration of divestiture. Faculty Senator Chester Dunning, acting for the Liberal Arts caucus, has requested that a temporary com mittee gather information on the possibility of divestiture to present to the Faculty Senate and, eventually, the Board of Regents. Dunning estimates the Universi ty’s holdings in South Africa total 1 to 2 percent of A&M’s investments. The Faculty Senate will hear com mittee reports on a 32-hour core curriculum and a new method of se lection of department heads, but senate Speaker Jaan Laane said the body will not vote on the proposals this month. He said he hopes the plan will be submitted for a vole in the January meeting. The senate also will hear a report from the status of women at A&M subcommittee.
