Rumbaugh, 28, was pronounced dead at 12:27 a.m. CDT, said Jim Mattox, the state attorney general. Hours before his death, Rum baugh was “cutting jokes and laugh ing” as he visited with friends and relatives in a cell a few feet from the death chamber, said corrections de partment spokeswoman Sarah Gri sham. “I believe in reincarnation. Tichenor Media acquires Chicago station Associated Press HARLINGEN — Tichenor Media System Inc., a major group operator of Spanish-language radio stations based in Harlingen, has acquired Chicago station WIND-AM for $6.85 million, McHenry T. Tichenor Jr., president of TMS, said Tuesday.
