Now Rios, 27, has made the Texas Most Wanted list for the 1984 murder of Lilly Rios. Amarillo Police Department in vestigators say Lilly Rios, 21, was shot to death on February 12, 1984, during a family disturbance at her residence. At the time of the shoot ing, Jose and Lilly Rios were es tranged. Rios was arraigned for his wife’s murder and posted bond. When he failed to appear for trial, a warrant was issued for his arrest. To com pound his problems, Rios also was named in a mandate, ordering his return to prison for five years on a theft charge.
