hanging in some museum in Houston and all the ‘'noted" art
critics around have been having a field day deciding what
they mean to the world of art. Well, fear no more. At Ease is
here to set the record straight.

10 Critics rule Houston isn't ‘school of art' The Museum
of Fine Arts, Houston brought critics from across the nation
to the 10th Annual Shartle Symposium to give a verdict on
Houston’s school of art. Patti Flint attended the lectures and
consolidates the information for the layman.

11 Artists differ in purpose Joseph Glasco and Bert Long
are extremely different men. They look, talk and act in com
pletely dissimilar manners. But they both have works in the
Fresh Paint exhibit.

Paul Christensen, is a noted local poet and his work has been
in seven publications. He also runs a small press in Bryan.
4 British poet's ideals subject of symposium The De
partment of English is sponsoring a symposium to study in
depth the ideals of Matthew Arnold.
5 Get Toto ticket The Grammy award-winning group will be
in G. Rollie on March 21 as part of their 1985 Isolation Spring
Tour. Tickets are on sale in Rudder Box Office.

6 Austin bands will play in Rumours Texas Instruments
and Fisher King are playing in Rumours tomorrow night.
The progressive rock bands are sponsored by MSG Basement.
6 Players open ‘Antigone' The Aggie Players’ second pro
duction of the semester opens Feb. 28. The play is a success
ful retelling of a Greek myth set in modern times.

3 Judy's provide a ‘punch' Walter reviews more than just an
album this week. He does The Judy’s, who played at Dr. G’s
Feb. 16. The crowd was drunk, the band was spastic and the
music was fun.
