The “All Night County Fair" will last from 7 p.m. until 3 a.m. About 60 organizations will par ticipate. Games sponsored by (lie groups include a cow chip throwing contest with real cow cnips, mice races, kayak races, horseshoe throw and seed spitting. Admission is $1 per person at the dexir. Tickets to play games can be purchased for 10 cents each. Up to five tickets will be required to play each game. Besides the games, a variety of other entertainment has been planned. New bills would alter bingo laws Associated Press AUSTIN — Two bills introduced in the Senate on Wednesday could make state bingo laws more strin gent and provide more money to charitable organizations, a lawmaker says. One of the bills introduced by Sen. Carlos Truan, D-Corpus Christi, would amend existing bingo law to allow the state comptroller’s office to check criminal records of those applying for a bingo operator’s permit.
