San Antonio musicians strike continues in a stalemate Associated Press SAN ANTONIO — The San An tonio symphony strike entered its third week Monday with no plans for a bargaining session to end the stalemate. The 83-member orchestra went on strike Jan. 5, demanding higher salaries and financial parity with other major orchestras in the United States. Carlos Wilson, symphony manag ing director said he is hearing ru mors the symphony may be in for a lengthy strike, The union, claiming too much of the symphony’s budget goes for ad ministration, has asked for raises in all three years of the proposed con tract.
