Re-elect
Management
for the ’80s
“Efficiency is my main objective”
I ran for office in 1980 because taxes
and the county’s budget just kept going
up.
As your County Commissioner, I
am directing county government in a
direction to work with Bryan and
College Station city governments to
eliminate duplication of efforts.
Efficiency is my main objective.
Doing what’s best for Brazos
County now and planning for the
future
working to see that future water
requirements are met using available
money, not increasing taxes, to
upgrade rural roads . . . eliminating
narrow bridges with the use of cqlverts
where possible
Billy Beard initiated the Brazos Court
Ordered Restitution and Public Service
program with the cooperation of the
Adult Probation Dept., the two district
judges, and County Court-at-law judge
allowing criminals to do community
service work
Billy Beard is involved:
• worked toward Brazos Animal Shelter
• Brazos Beautiful, executive committee
• Brazos County Historical
Commission, member
• Brazos Valley Development Council,
Emergency Medical Committee
• Brazos County Industrial Board,
attracting medical and Industrial
corporations
• Sec. to Agricultural Chamber of
Commerce, Agricultural Committee
