Driver safety courses begin today

The TAMU After Hours Program will sponsor a Driver Safety
bourse today and tomorrow. This course may be used to have cer-
iin traffic violations dismissed and to receive a 10 percent discount
n automobile insurance. Registration is held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Better Drivers will sponsor a Defensive Driving Course today
from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and tomorrow from 8 a.m. to noon at 1806

SCAVMA sponsors dog bath and dip
The SCAVMA Auxiliary is sponsoring a dog bath and dip from
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the vet school parking lot. The cost is $5
er dog. A veterinarian will be available to answer questions. Please
ring your dog’s leash and a towel. Rain date is Sept. 15.
Gospel concert presented tonight
Totlyn Jackson will give a gospel concert at the Pleasant Grove
illaptist Church, at the intersection of Sims Street and 19th Street in

G.E.D. test preparation class offered
Free classes in English as a second language and G.E.D. test pre
paration will be offered by College Station Community Education
beginning Monday. Registration will be at 9 a.m. for the morning
