WHAT IS OPTION 1(b)?
1. A GUARANTEE FOR QUALITY
TODAY AND IN THE FUTURE.
A vote for Option 1 (b) will raise the University Center Complex Fee
from $10.00 to $20.00 over the next four years. This will maintain
and increase the quality and level of services provided to us in the
Memorial Student Center and Rudder Complex.
These services include: Our advantages include:
•Check Cashing
• Bookstore
•Lostand Found
• Food Services
-Snack Bars
-MSC Cafeteria
-Banquet facilities
• Craft Center
• Barber / Beauty Shops
•Art Gallery / Exhibit Hall
• Electronic Games
• Bowling Lanes
•Browsing Library
• MSC Main Lounge
• Low ticket prices on MSC Town Hall concerts, Broadway
plays, MSC Aggie Cinema / Cepheid Variable Movies, MSC
OPAS events, RHA Casino, Class Balls, International Week ac
tivities, Banquets, speaker programs, other events.
• Low prices at Cafeteria, snack bars, bowling lanes, beauty /
barber shops, craft center.
• Free use of Check-cashing, Browsing library, meeting rooms
for conferences and meetings, Rudder Fountain area.
An attractive student center area.
A vote against Option 1(b) will reduce level of service and
increase charges for all events and services.
2. A GUARANTEE FOR STUDENT INPUT
INTO EXPENDITURES
Of the $10.00 dollar increase, $4.00 goes into a special Reserve Fund, which
provides the means for this student input, as well as establish a long-term
improvements/additions fund.
