The Big Chill: This film truly
has the stars of the 80s in it. The
plot revolves around college chums

reunion and wondering what hap
pened to the good old days. A won
derful film. R.

Reckless: A film that is nothing
more than a cheap rip-off of the
movie Breathless. If Richard Gere
couldn't draw a crowd into see
him, how are two newcomers
going to do any better? See at your
own risk. R.
Risky Business: Tom Cruise
stars in this story of the model teen
age son, Joel. Joel learns the power
he has when his parents go out of
town, and in the process of all of
the misadventure he somehow gets
himself into Princeton. R.
Surf II: Another teenage party
film. As usual this film has a very
bad plot and very little acting in it.
The only thing that saves this film
is that it doesn't try to take itself too
seriously. Another film to watch at
your own risk. R.
Manor East
823-8300
Lonely Guy: Steve Martin
stars in this movie about a man
who just can't seem to score
with the ladies — until he
writes a book telling about it. R.
Angel:
l: Here is the melodramatic
story of Angel — by day she is a
high school student and by night
she is a prostitute. Bad plot and bad
acting fill this movie. R.
Never Cry Wolf: Walt Disney
studios spent two years shooting
this film on location in Alaska. It is
the story of a man who gives up
civilization and moves to the wil
derness to study a pack of wolves
and to survive in the wild. PG.
Plitt Cinema III

Terms of Endearment: Shirley
Maclaine and Debra Winger star in
this picture. It is a bittersweet, co
medic story of the relationship be
tween a mother and her daughter
as they both grow up. This film is
expected to garner several Aca
demy Awards this year. R.
Silk wood: Meryl Streep, Kurt
Russell, and Cher star in tnis fact-
based story of nuclear plant worker
Karen Silk wood. This film is a high
light in movie going. Cher does an
excellent job in her role in this film.
R.
Daniel: A drama concerning the
reactions of two children when
their parents are executed for trea
son. Starring Timothy Hutton,
Amanda Plummer and Ed Asner.
Post Oak

Dudley Moore comedy in which
a man spends his time thinking
up different ways to kill his
wife, played by Nastassja
Kinski, after she supposedly
has had an affair. R.
