Motor
(continued from page 8)
comfortable, Mrs. Gibler said.
“My idea of camping out is
Holiday Inn with a black and
white TV," she said.
She said they will probably
come back after Mike graduates.
"Autumn thinks this is
home," Mrs. Gibler said. "And
we believe in A&M."
Jack Moore of Ingram, Walter
Glenney of San Antonio and
David Trent of Del Rio, have re
served slips together for their
motor homes in Olsen Grove
Park.
Glenney, who parks in slip
number 35 because he is Class of
'35, said they don't stay in the
park for the price but just for
pleasure.
Everyone else is rushing
down here and rushing off
while we're here relaxing, he
said.
Moore, Class of '56, said a
motor home is the only way to
come to a football game.
"We take our time walking to
the game, watch the Corps
march-in, and when the game is
over, come back and cook
steaks," he said.
Moore said he and his wife
come to every game they can
and as far as they're concerned,
the Aggies never lose, they just
run out of time.
"We don't like it when the
Aggies don't win and we get
mad," Glenney said. "But we
get over it and keep coming and
we'll be back the next time they
don't win too."
EMT
(continued from page 5)
if they are not working or if there
is a TV in the station."
Ken Hutchenrider, vice presi
dent of the care team, said that
he doesn't mind missing the
game because he gets satisfac
tion at the thought that he may
be able to make a difference in
someone's life.
"It is a drive to help people
that keeps us here," Hutch
enrider said. "Everyone on the
team is patient oriented and
they want to help the sick and
injured in any way they can. We
stress the aspect of helping a lot.
We stress it so much and that's
what helps to keep us patient-
oriented."
Menger put it this way:
"If you've ever saved any
one's life, it is the greatest thing
in the world. It's hard work and
we might complain a lot because
we don't have enough time for
school or sleep, but it's all worth
it when you help someone, no
matter if it's a football game or
not. Even though I call it a job at
times, it's because that's what it
sometimes feels like. We don't
get paid for any of this, but it's
all worth it. It's all very worth
it."
