Willie Hill, who was indicted by a grand jury last week for destroying a cocaine-looking substance found in the county judge’s jeep, a group of lawyers announced Tuesday Hill was arrested for telling two sheriffs deputies to dispose of the suspected drugs found while a police radio was being installed in the judge’s vehicle. He is charged with official misconduct and tam pering with evidence, both Class A misdemeanors. For information call Wayne Helton at 845-1631 Congress to act on the bill to pay farmers to reduce output could eventually destroy the dairy program. But last Friday, Block wrote to House Republican leader Robert Michel that he would support an amendment by Rep. Barber Con- able, R-N.Y., that would cut the milk price support level by $1.50 to $11.60 per 100 pounds of milk. If that amendment were enacted, Block said he would reduce the support level initially by $1.10 to $12. Rep. Edward Madigan, R-Ill., ranking Republican on the com mittee, defended Block. He said that his support of the dairy mea sure was linked to congressional consideration of legislation to freeze grain and cotton target prices, which Congress has failed to do.
