The MSC computer system was originally budgeted for $14,000. The additional funds, if approved, will be used to de velop a central information cen ter on MSC contributors, MSC Associate Director James Ran dolph said. For example, he said, one committee may list contributors in alphabetical order while another groups them geog raphically. It takes a consider able amount of extra effort for committees to make sure they aren’t contacting the same peo ple for different purposes. Randolph said expanding the data base and establishing a cen tral information file would solve this problem. “This is the next step that is required for us to continue growing in respect to fundrais ing,” he said.
