Anyone who hasn't heard about this film must live in a galaxy far, far away. Rated PG. Revenge of the Ninja: One of the endless Kung-fu movies that must be endured during any movie season. Rated R. W izards: This perennial mid night cartoon by Ralph (Fritz the Kat) Bakshi relates how a fumbling, sex-crazed wizard saves the world from his utterly despicable brother. Rated R. Midnight. Post Oak: 764-0616 IXisky Business: A delightful change of pace as far as teen-age adventures go. This particular film has wit and charm despite a few plot problems. Probably one of the most underrated films of the summer and fall. Rated R. Plitt Cinema I&II&III 846-6714 Dead Zone: Christopher Walken stars as a man who gains precogni tion in a car accident. Martin Sheen also is in this adaptation of a novel by Stephen King, which just may turn out to be a classy Halloween movie. Rated R. e Man From Snowy River: Yes, it's back. This Australian film gives a new angle to the cowboy myth and shows quite a bit of that continent's scenery on the way. Rated PG. Cocaine Cowboy: Well, it's either one of those silly, old prop aganda films like Reefer Madness or a moving documentary about the drug habits of a professional football player. Midnight. Rated R. Let's Spend the Night Together: This is the movie based on the Rolling Stone's concert tour in 1981. You can catch a glimpse of Mick before he turned 40. Rated PG. Friday and Saturday. Midnight. Rudder Theater. Brittania Hospital: An update on the Frankenstein story, this farce on British society tells the world how to make the perfect man of the '80s out of spare parts. Rated R. Sunday 7:30 p.m. Rudder Theater. The 39 Steps: One of Alfred Hitchcock's most famous murder mysteries. Unrated. Wednesday. 7:30 p.m. Rudder Theater. Manor East 823-8300 Never Say Never Again: Sean Connery returns as James Bond to save the world from nuclear terror ism. Bond goes from England to the Something Wicked This Way Comes and Watcher in the Woods: This double feature should be a good deal if you like a little horror and pyrotechnics. The first movie, by Ray Bradbury, was a pret ty good flick considering that no one saw it. Rated PG. Independence Day: No on seems to know what this movie is about, but I definitely remember the title from this spring. Perhaps a romantic comedy or some sorts? Rated R. Schulman Six 775-2468 Beyond the Limit: Richard Gere and Michael Caine star in this just-released film about two men in love with the same woman and how she influences them. The setting of the film is Argentina. If it's like other Gere films, there should be plenty of flesh scenes. Rated R. The Big Chill: A promising new movie. The story's about col lege buddies drifting apart. In col lege they all had been the non conformists, but they now have be come members of the establish ment Rated R. Brainstorm: Natalie Wood has become the star of this feature be cause she died while it was in pro duction. She plays one of a team of scientists who discover a device that can make your dreams appear real. Rated PG. Mr. Mom: A new movie with no new ideas. The movie is what happens when daddy stays at home and mommy goes to work. Rated R. Xradint ig Places: Eddie Mur phy and Dan Akroyd star in this humorous prince-and-the-pauper story. These two talents come together to make one of the funniest comedies released this summer. For good entertainment come see this one. Rated R. Under Fire: More South American intrique, this time with Nicke Nolte and Gene Hackman. Hopefully it's better than Beyond the Limit. Rated R. Skyway Twin Drive-In 822-3300 East Black Cat and Cold Sweat: They have got to be cheap horror films, but if you're in the spirit, why not? Rated R. West Still of the Night and Evil Dead: There is no need to comment on the second movie (if that's what it is), but the first is a nice suspense thriller with big name stars — Meryl Streep and Roy Scheider.
