Both teams will be competing in their second tournaments of the year. The women won the Lady Cardinal Tournament last weekend at Beaumont, beating LSU 7-2 and defending tourna ment champion Houston by a 5- 4 score. Coach Jan Cannon said Wednesday the team will face even tougher competition in Austin. “Two of the top 10 teams in the country will be there — Texas and Trinity,” she said. Texas Christian University and A&M complete the tourney roster.
