Tough Enough: The film that
seems to have been inspired by the
Sylvester Stallone series of Rocky
films. This is the story of an unem
ployed worker who turns to boxing
to make a living. R.
MSC Aggie
Cinema
845-1515
Airplane II: The Sequel:
Robert Hays takes to the air again
in a sequel to the hit comedy. It's
not as funny as the original, but it
has its moments. Friday 8 p.m. in
Rudder Auditorium. PG
^ome Kind of Hero: Richard
Pryor stars in this comedy about a
Vietnam veteran who comes back
and goes crazy. Not one of Pryor's
best but a good entertainment
value. R. Midnight. Auditorium.
MSC Cepheid

The
ae Yellow Submarine: A clas
sic Beatle’s film. This adventure is
animated, filled with music, and
contains puns on the issues of the
times. 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. 701
Rudder.

Gandhi: The film traces 56 of the
79 years of Mahatma Gandhi's life.
Gandhi was a man from India
whose efforts on behalf of his peo
ple won him the designation of
"Great Soul." It's a must to see this
portrayal of a legend. PG.
Raiders of the Lost Ark: An
adventure classic starring every
body's favorite Harrison Ford. Defi
nitely go see it (again).PG.
Rocky Horror Picture Show:
Join Janet (Susan Sarandon) and
Brad as they experience numerous
interesting events after they meet
Frankenfurter, a transexual. R. Mid
night.
Enter the Dragon: One of the
endless Bruce Lee movies that
shows us just how exciting karate
can be. A real cinematographic
effort. R. Midnight.
Manor East
823-8300
Th e Man From Snowy River:
Kirk Douglas stars in this western
about a boy suddenly alone in the
world who helps a girl struggling
with life. In Dolby Stereo. PG.
Spring Break: This is a summer
teen film upgraded for college stu
dents. It glorifies the pursuits of
four young men on the beaches of
Ft. Lauderdale. You will either
laugh or cry at this amazing film. R.
Treasure of the Four Crowns:
A new movie filmed in Supervision
3D. No one seems to know what this
one is about. So why don't we try
something new, you go to this one
and tell us what it is about. R.
Blade Runner: Harrison Ford
stars in this vision of the future. The
plot leaves something to be desired.
but the visual effects in the movie
make it well worth seeing. R. Mid
night.
Post Oak:

1 ootsie: Dustin Hoffman stars as
an unemployed actor who imper
sonates a woman to land an acting
job on a soap opera. He gets the job
and then the fun begins. PG.
M ax Dugan Returns: This is the
latest of the Neil Simon series of
films. It — of course — stars his
favorite actress Marsha Mason. She
plays a woman who is down and out
until the man of her life, Max
Dugan, returns with a fortune. They
live happily ever after. PG.
Sophie's Choice: It is finally
here! Meryl Streep stars in this fine
film—it should head the list of films
to see this season. Critics say that
Streep is going to win an Oscar for
this bravo performance. R.
Schulman Six
775-2468
E.T •: Yes, this movie is still here
and probably will be for a very long
time. Someone please help the little
guy pay his long distance phone
bill. PG.
The Black Stallion Returns: This
is the second installment of the
Black Stallion series. If you liked the
first you will love the second.PG.
House on Sorority Row:
Another horror movie with a rather
unusual concept. Here it is the
sorority girls who are commiting the
fiendish crimes. I doubt if this movie
would make it past rush, the film
just isn’t the right type. R.
Th e Year of Living Dangerous
ly: This romantic adventure, star
ring Mel Gibson as an Australian
journalist, is set against the back
ground of war in Indonesia. Dire
cted by Peter Weir. PG.
Th e Outsiders: Directed by Fran
cis Coppola and starring Matt Dil
lon, this film lends itself to a certain
reality with which people of the real
world can relate. The film has been
adapted from the popular S.E. Hin
ton novel of the same name. R. See
review page 3.
High Road to China: Tom Sel-
leck's big screen debut. This adven
ture film has little adventure for the
viewer and falls flat as a good ol'
Saturday matinee movie. This
attempt also co-stars the lovely Bess
Armstrong — definitely not one of
her stronger roles. PG.
Skyway Twin
Drive-In
822-3300
J oysticks: Another movie to show
just how High School never was. If
you want to see a wonderful misrep
resentation of life then definitely go
see this movie.
Incubus: The killer baby returns.
A horror film that mixes an insight
ful combination of babies and de
mons. Obviously an overlooked
team. R.
10 to Midnight: The Charles
Bronson film that is just like the rest
of the Charles Bronson films. Un
less you absolutely love Charles
Bronson or the blood drive this
week wasn't enough blood, don't
worry about missing the movie. R.
Death Hunt: Again this movie is
a find the bad guy and take the law
into your own hands and then kill
the sucker film. This drive-in seems
to be in an obvious rut. R.
