Page 8/The Battalion/Monday, April 4,1983 International Week exhibition of pride Food, frolic and fun Filled the Memorial Student Center last week as international students presented the culture of their countries to observe Interna tional Week. The First event of Interna tional Week was an exhibit on the MSC main floor of tables from each country. The tables were decorated with posters, painting and art work from the students’ countries. The second event was an in ternational food fair. More than 132 international dishes were prepared by students from all over the world. Everything from Nigeria’s Moi Moi to Crepes from France was served. The third event was a fashion and talent show, including a pa rade of traditional folk dress from more than 50 countries. Nineteen groups performed routines in the talent show rang ing from Indian folk dances to Egyptian belly dances. An awards ceremony was held on Friday afternoon. Before the week began, Inter national Student Adviser Tina Watkins said the international students take a great deal of pride in presenting internation al week and gain new friend ships from it.
