But Akers said he doubted Davis would see action Saturday against Arkansas. “Doctors checked his knee to day and decided it was just a mild sprain,” Akers said. “He will be checked again Friday, but he is not expected to play this week.” Another injured Longhorn fullback, Carl Robinson, will not start in Saturday’s game.
