Israel called a special Cabinet session for today to discuss Reagan’s move and said Prime Minister Menachem Begin would interrupt his vacation to attend the meeting, Israel radio said. Begin is also scheduled to meet Secretary of Defense Cas par Weinberger today. Tne new post-Lebanon policy was outlined in a Reagan letter to Begin delivered by U.S. Ambassador Samuel Lewis. Israel radio reporter Shimon Shiffer said the Reagan letter called for full ties between Jor dan and the West Bank, which Israel captured from Jordan in the 1967 Middle East War and has occupied since.
