GREENVILLE — Authorities
said Monday they had recovered
the last of three fishermen’s
bodies, all officials in the same
church, whose boat overturned
in stormy waters this weekend
on a north Texas lake.
The men, identified as Y.O.
Freddie Roy, William Johnson
and Raymond Lee Jr., were
found four hours apart along
the banks of Lake Tawakom,
said Hunt County dispatcher
Sherry Pruett.

members, has devoted most of
its political ef forts this year at a
“Cops Against Clements” cam
paign aimed at unseating Gov.
Bill Clements.
Clements responded by
branding the groups’ leadership
union organizers.
Despite the fact that Meier
sponsored several parts of the
Clements anti-crime package in
the last session, DeLord said his
group does not consider Meier
to be a law-and-order candidate.
DeLord said CLEAT’s politic
al action committee only would
be able to make a small donation
to Mattox’s campaign but that
many of the group’s members
had promised to do volunteer
campaigning.
