Campus Theater: 846-6512 A Midsummer’s Night Sex Comedy: This stars Woody Allen so don’t expect anything resembling a Shakespearean play. The only thing that re mains the same is the title. Also stars Mia Farrow, Mary Steen- burgen and Tony Roberts. R. I~Ieavy Metal: From the pant ing fantasies of Heavy Metal Magazine comes this animated feature with a rock score by Black Sabbath, Devo, Journey and Cheap Trick. R. Live and Let Die: Roger Moore, in his First Bond movie, tries to stop a drug ring. He en counters Jane Seymore as Soli taire, the beautiful companion of the villain. Monday. PG. Life of Brian: Comedy by Monty Python in which Brian is born in a manger not far from where Jesus Christ was born. The two are constantly being confused. Tuesday. R. Godfather: Marlon Brando won an Academy Award for his role as the head of a powerful Mafia clan in this gangster movie. A1 Pacino, James Caan and Robert Duvall also star. Wednesday. R. tray lost travelers who -wander into Tim Curry’s castle and ex perience a night to remember. Midnight Friday and Saturday. R. break from singing and stars in a film with six kids. He plays a race car driver who, with help from his kiddie pit crew, becomes a hero. PG. Porky’s: Comedy about wild teenagers and their preoccupa tion with sex. We get to see ev erything they’re preoccupied with. R. ressive country and rock 'nr music of Sagebrush. Carol Burnett, Albert Finney and Bernadette Peters star. PG. Poltergeist: A suburban neigh borhood project is built over an ancient burial site. All of the ghosts from this graveyard even tually manifest themselves in one household. PG. Skyway Twin Drive-In 822-3300 Plitt Cinema I&II 846-6714 MSC Grove: 845-1515 Star Trek:The Motion Picture: Captain Kirk, McCoy and Spock are back along with new mem bers of the Enterprise crew. Together they struggle to save the Earth from a mysterious des troyer of ships and space sta tions. Thursday. G. Otar trek II: The Wrath of Khan: The second in the Star Trek movie series, supposedly better than the first, with a more action-packed plot. For Trek- kies, consider this a sequel to one of the TV episodes — “Space Seed.” PG. Blade Runner: Harrison Ford plays a detective in charge of tracking down manufactured humans who are escaping their servitude. IVTega Force: Using fancy weapons, an elite military force defends a small democratic na tion from mercenaries. What re sults is a “mega war.” PG. Fm : Martin Mull stars as a disc jockey who takes over the radio station when his boss tries to sell it. Great sound track, for this one take off your Walk-Man. Midnight. Friday and Saturday. R. E.T.: An alien from a distant planet is stranded on earth by his mother ship and hidden by a small boy. The boy and creature become close friends as the alien tries to “phone home.” PG. .Author! Author!: A1 Pacino plays a writer whose wife leaves him with five kids. It’s a ratrace at his house. PG. 4^he Best Little Whorehouse in Texas: First the Whorehouse papers, then the play and now the movie. All of course are ab out one of the greatest Texas traditions — The Chicken Ranch and it’s ultimate down fall. Starring Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton. Woooweee! R. Fire Fox: Clint Eastwood is ajet pilot who’s up against the Rus sians. R. Body Heat: William Hurt and Kathleen Turner star in this steamy murder-mystery story. Zapped: Willie Aames and Scott Baio play two high school boys. One of them has telekine tic powers and the other one hopes to capitalize on them. R. Six Pac: Kenny Rogers takes a TrON: Man is trapped in a computer he created. The movie might remind one of a life-size video game. Except this guy ran out of quarters. PG.
