Douglas MacArthur was accused Saturday of collaborat ing with a Japanese general to obtain still-secret records on American prisoners of war used as biological warfare guinea pigs during World War II. The accusation was made in testimony at a hearing before the U.S. House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. American GIs, captured by the Japanese in the Phillippines in 1942, were transported to a Japanese POW camp in Muk den, Manchuria, where the ex periments were conducted, said Greg Rodriquez Jr., of Missoula, Mont., chairman of an organiza tion called Ex-POW Vision Quest. His father is one of the 4,000 Americans still alive who spent time in Japanese POW camps during World War II.
