Texas A&M women’s basketball coach Cherri Rapp announced
Tuesday the signing of the team’s first recruit for the 1982-83
season.
Felice Lewis, a 5-10 sophomore forward at McClennan Com
munity College in Waco, has been signed to a basketball scholar
ship. Lewis, from Baytown, played in the Junior College All-Star
game during April.
Rapp said Lewis will give the Aggie Ladies a great deal of
rebounding help. The Texas A&M coach described Lewis as being
“very quick, a good rebounder and a good ball-handler who shoots
well from the outside.”
