the University of Texas Medical
School want to re-establish heart
transplants by working with Dr.
Denton Cooley and his surgical
team at the Texas Heart Insti
tute.
Dr. Barry Kahan, director of
UT’s organ transplant program,
said Wednesday that plans havt
been completed to start a trans
plant team. But Dr. Ernst Km>
oil, the university’s new dean,
said the plans are tentative,
