Marcia Meyer Rodstein has filed a federal lawsuit seeking $25,000 in back pay and rein statement with M. David Lowe Personnel Services. The com pany contends her May 1980 di- niissal was not related to her reli gious beliefs. Rodstein claimed she was in vited to the Easter bonnet awards lunch — one month be fore the firing — because she was a top producer in the com pany. Her lawsuit, filed Thursday, said she ignored a supervisor’s suggestion to enter competition for most beautiful and most creative bonnets “because she was a member of the Jewish faith and did not believe in Easter. Lowe disputed Rodstein’s claims, saying she was fired after working three years at the em ployment service because she did not fit in with the company. He said the supervisor who fired her was Jewish, and said several other people at the 1980 lunch did not wear bonnets. Presented by MSC Town Hall MONDAY, JAN. 25 - 7:30 b G.
