The tournament was played with a partnership format, in which the lowest score of the two partners on each hole is recorded. TCU won the competition, played at the Columbia Lakes course, with a three-day total of 208, trailed by Arizona at 209 and SMU at 210. The Aggies finished at 214. Furlong tied for second indi vidually with rounds of 75-76-77- 228, earning second place outright on the third hole of the tiebreaker. “Shirley really played a good tournament, especially the first couple of days, ” Coach Kitty Hol ley said. Holley added that the Bluebon net Bowl was a “fun” tournament, whose results do not count to wards Texas A&M’s qualifying r cord for the national tourname next June.
