“No Parka You Bika Here Ever Again!” is
the message residents of Mclnnis Hall are
trying to convey to bike riders. The
banner alerts cyclists that, as of
Wednesday, all bicycles are to be parked
in the nearby bike racks. However, as this
Wednesday afternoon photo shows, some
people never learn.

Widow tries to clear husband of Lindbergh murder
United Press International
FLEMINGTON, N.J. — The
widow of the man electrocuted for
murdering the infant son of aviator
Charles Lindbergh is seeking ac
cess to 90,000 state police docu
ments she says will clear her dead
husband’s name.
Anne Hauptmann, 83, was ex
pected to file suit Wednesday in
Hunterdon County Court.
The civil suit, which names
Gov. Brendan T. Byrne and state
Attorney General James Zazzali,
alleges state officials “have con
tinuously withheld and concealed
facts and the truth (about the in
vestigation) from Anna Haupt
mann and the public.”
Bruno Richard Hauptmann was
convicted of the March 1932 kid-
nap-murder of 20-month-old
Charles A. Lindbergh Jr. and was
electrocuted for the crime on
April 3, 1936, in Trenton.
The suit claims Hauptmann
“was wrongfully and unjustly
charged” and said his widow “lives
for the day that he is posthumous
ly exonerated and vindicated for
this terrible wrong and injustice. ”
