Page 6 THE BATTALION FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 1981 Local o Free Enterprise Center here hosting economics conference By Michele Rowland Battalion Reporter Texas A&M University’s Cen ter for Education and Research in Free Enterprise is hosting a con ference on economics education today and Saturday in an effort to help schools comply with the Eco nomics Education Act of 1977. The act mandates development of economic education programs in public schools and encourages state colleges and universities to help public school teachers plan curriculums through educational centers.
