THIS WEEK Movies Check theatres for specific times and prices. Movies subject to change without notice. Campus Theater 846-6512 Seems Like Old Times: Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase, two extremely talented comedians, star in only an average, but still funny Neil Simon movie. Chase plays Hawn's ex-bank robber husband who eventually clashes with her current hus band who's out to capture the inept criminal. Rated PG. Rocky Horror Picture Show: This is the story of "Ballpark" Frank-N-Furter, who gets beefed up over his creature who has great buns. Yes, it's time to relish those moments when din ner consists of leftover meatloaf — that is, when the characters eat at the table. This is one movie in which the audience is toasted and reigns supreme. Midnight Friday and Saturday. Rated R. Manor East 823-8300 Fort Apache, The Bronx: Paul Newman and Edward Asner, two acting heavyweights, team in this New York police drama in which the police are fighting an ways to save the orphanage in which they were reared. Mid night Friday and Saturday. Rated R. Caddyshack: Bill Murray and Chevy Chase are definitely all right in this country club version of" Animal House." Best of all is Rodney Dangerfield, who's hilarious every time he's on screen. Also starring is Ted Knight. Don't miss the gopher dandng to Kenny Loggins' good music. Midnight Friday and Saturday. Rated R. The Big Red One: Lee Marvin does a superb job in this well- made war movie. The story is typical — a group of American boys fight their way across Europe during World War II. But the direction, script and acting is superior to that of most English-speaking films pro duced the last couple of years. Midnight Friday and Saturday. Rated PG. MSC Box Office almost losing battle against the gangs, junkies and pyromaniacs of the Bronx. Rated R. See re view on page four of this issue. Charlie Chan and the Curse of the Dragon Lady: Another cute comedy that pokes fun at old movies. This time the old Char lie Chan films are satarized. Angie Dickinson stars, but there's no guarantee her hair will be combed. Rated PG. Rlues Brothers: "Saturday Night Live" dropouts John Be- lushi and Dan Ackroyd continue to pretend to be blues singers. First was their gold album, now it's their movie which features some real soul singers like Aretha Franklin and the James Brown. The boys are looking for MEL BROOKE Sunday at 7:30 in Rudder Theatre. Rated PG. Cousin, Cousine: This hila rious French comedy is about kissing cousins, but thankfully it's no Elvis Presley film. Nominated for an Academy Award, this movie is guaran teed to be funny no matter in what language it's heard. Wednesday at 7:30 in Rudder Theatre. Rated R. Plitt Cinema I&II 846-6714 845-2916 Xanadu: About 90 minutes of roller disco, Olivia Newton- John and Electric Light Orches tra music. If you can handle that combination, the Marines are looking for you. Also caught in this fantasy story is Gene Kelly, who was roller skating before Olivia Newton-John was bom. Thursday at 7:30 and 9:45 in Rudder Theatre. Rated PG. M*A*S*H: Donald Suther. land and Elliot Gould are the in comparable Hawkeye Pierce and Trapper John in movie that's every bit as good as the television series. Director Robert Altman doesn't go for all the punchlines, so don't expect to be tickled pink. Just expect to be thoroughly entertained. Fri day and Saturday at midnight in Rudder Theatre. Rated R. Silent Movie: With the excep tion of one spoken word, this is truly a silent movie. Mel Brooks and Marty Feldman star in this madcap comedy about a has- been movie director and his attempt to climb back to make another hit. If the movie gets a little boring (this is no "Blazing Saddles"), count all the big stars who make cameo appearances. Ly Bloody Valentine: First it was "Halloween" then it was "Friday the 13th." Now it's Valentine's Day — guess it's time for another massacre. Holi days just aren't sacred anymore these days. Rated R. Stir Crazy: The two funniest men in movies, Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder, are paired in what should be an absolutely hilarious film. Well, it's not quite that great, but it's still pret ty good. Pryor and Wilder are accidentally accused of robbing a bank and accidentally sent to prison. They should have been carted to the funny farm. Rated R.
