Local residents learned how to make the sun work for them Thi
day night at the Texas Solar Town Hall, a free public forum.
The experts told the group they can save as much as 50 perce
annually on normal heating and cooling costs by using solar
The forum was one of 31 scheduled statewide by the Texas
Energy Society (TX-SES) in conjunction with the state energy ol
the Texas Energy and Natural Resources Advisory Council.
Daryl Janes, project manager with TX-SES, said a family offo
