Magnolia Renaissance Festival: The Texas Renaissance Festival will be open every Saturday and Sunday from Sept. 27 through Novem ber 2. It features a 16th Century English village complete with a race track, merchants, food, knaves and royalty of the period. Admission is $7.50 per person. Washington Octoberfest: Taking place Oct. 4 and 5, a weekend of German food and music. There will be a street dance, square dance demon strations, a German dress contest, quilting demonstrations, and music by the Mountain Vagabonds, the Trailriders and the Sauer krauts Polka Band.
