Hie autocross track took up all of aiepart of the Olsen Field parking dt 50 pylons are set up, and the Burse is plotted with long sweeping ones similar to a race track. It is fliroximately half a mile in length. Each autocross, however, is de nned differently. Some courses are luch tighter than others, and others wser. The racers run through the course tree on each try, and they race indi- ndually against a competitor’s time. 1 hreat to ouraged ) project to it and the most interna- d. Virdon said he relieved Forsch be cause, “I just didn’t think that he was throwing well,” but catcher Alan Ashby said the manager strives to give the often-injured Forsch rest whenever he can. “The timing was right to take Ken ny out,” Ashby said. “Bill said at the time, and I don’t think there’s any thing wrong with me repeating it, that we’ve got a little lead and things look good to get him out of here and give him some rest for his next start. w -wmw***** * m'wyr FREE DRYING WHEN-U-WASH or SAVE 506 •••« on Jack Foy aims his modified class Mustang around one Summer Day Autocross, sponsored Sunday by the trical engineering major at Texas A&M. of the curves on the Olsen Field course for the Hot Texas A&M Sports Car Club.
