tle York) has an immediate opening for a parts and material engineer. This is
an excellent initial assignment for getting maximum exposure for all projects
within our Digital Systems Group.
The candidate selected will serve as an interface between product design and
purchasing while writing technical specifications for purchased parts. The job
requires meeting with project engineers, vendor salesmen, drafting personnel,
computer programmers, manufacturing engineers, and quality assurance
engineers.
Specific duties include preparation of smooth draft of procurement specifica
tions for various parts and materials from input supplies by projects. Will
also be responsible in establishing/maintaining a data base to standardize
parts and materials.
