NEWMAN ORGANIZATION: The Welcoming Committee will meet
to discuss plans for next year at 6 p.m. at St. Mary’s Student Center.
CIRCLE K: Will have a general business meeting at 6:30 p.m. in 502
Rudder.
DANCE ARTS SOCIETY: A “Kaleidoscope of Dance’’ will be pre
sented at 7:30 p.m. in Rudder Theater. Admission is free.
NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK: The Kings English band will perform
from 7:30-9 p. m. in the sunken reading room on the second floor of
Evans Library.
CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST: Will hold a Leadership Train
ing Class at 7:30 p.m. in 204 Harrington.
MEXICAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION: Will meet to elect ofiRcers at
6 p.m. in 308 Rudder.
BAPTIST STUDENT UNION: Will have an International Dinner at
6:30 p.m. at the Baptist Student Union.
“THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD”: Sinbad the sailor encoun
ters his greatest adventure in a land of magic. The feature will be
shown at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. in 601 Rudder.
ORAL INTERPRETATION PERFORMANCE GROUP: Will per
form Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.’s “Welcome To The Monkey House’’ at
7:30 p.m. in 701 Rudder.
FRIDAY
SENIOR BASH: Will be held from 8-12 p.m. at the Lakeview Club.
Tickets are available at the MSC Box Office.
MSC BASEMENT COFFEEHOUSE: The Bee’s Knees, a Dallas
jazz/pop band, will perform at 8 p.m. in the MSC Coffeehouse.
Tickets are $3.50 at the MSC Box Office or at the door.
CENTURY SINGERS: Will hold their spring concert at 8 p.m. in
Rudder Theater. Tickets are $2 and are available at the MSC Box
Office.
NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK: A book sale will be held from 10 a m.
to 3 pm. at the Evans Library Concourse. Free McDonalds
coupons will be given with a $5 purchase.
“ANIMAL HOUSE”: John Belushi and Tim Matheson star in this
parody of college life. It was the Delta’s against the Rufrs-the Rules
lost! The feature will be shown at 7:30 p.m. and at midnight in the
Grove.
SADDLE AND SIRLOIN: Will have a spring picnic at 6 p. m. in at the
SPJST Hall on Highway 21 West. There will also be a dance
featuring the Country Combinations.
SATURDAY
MSC BASEMENT COFFEEHOUSE: Will present the Bee s Knees,
a Dallas jazz/pop band, at 8 p.m. at the Coffeehouse. Admission is
$3.50 and tickets may be bought at the door or at the MSC Box
Office.
ROMPUS RAMPUS: The Off-Campus Aggies will sponsor an after
noon of fun and games from 1-5 p.m. on the MSC Drill Field.
Awards will be given. Teams may sign up through Friday.
TEXAS A&M MARATHON: Will begin at 7 a.m. at G. Rollie White
Coliseum. Applications are available at the Physical Education
office at G. Rollie White Coliseum.
“SPLIT FOR THE SUMMER”: The banana split challenge for the
world record will begin at 10 a. m. on Kyle Field. Tickets to help eat
the split are on sale through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the
MSC, at Rudder Fountain, at the MSC Box Office and through
dorm councils.
SENIOR BANQUET: Will begin at 5 p.m. at the Brazos Center.
RING DANCE: Will begin at 9 p.m. in the MSC and Rudder Exhibit
Hall. Tickets are available at the MSC Box Office.
“ANIMAL HOUSE”: The feature will be shown at 7:30 p.m. and at
midnight in the Grove.
