Tickets are available at the Events Center box
office for $8.50, $10.50 and $12.50.
Saturday, Feb. 23, pantomimist Marcel Marceau
will perform with his partner Pierre Verry. Tickets
are on sale at the box office for $10, $8 and $6.
The show will start at 8 p.m. A roast pork loin
dinner will be served at the Center before the
performance for $9 a person, tax and tip in
cluded. No cameras will be allowed in the build
ing for the performance.
Ballet Theater: Austin Ballet Theatre at Armadillo

Car Auction: A Classic Car Auction will be held
Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. at the Will Rogers Exhibits

Grand Opera: The Houston Grand Opera will be
appearing Feb. 15-22 at Jones Hall, 615
Louisiana. Soprano Beverly Sills, baritone Alan
Titus and tenor David Kuebler will perform Don

Festival Concert: UST Jazz Ensemble will per

Barbecue Contest: A barbecue contest will be
held in the Astrodome parking lot, 9100 block of
Kirby on Feb. 17. Contestants will cook at least
10 pounds of meat over a woodburning fire.

Holiday on Ice: Holiday on Ice will appear at the
Summit, 10 Greenway Plaza Feb. 20-24. Spe

Magic Show: River Oaks Country Club, 1600 River
Oaks Boulevard. Robert Olson, of the restored
Old Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts, will
re-create the magic show of Richard Potter, the

Washington: “Treasure, People, Ships and
Dreams,” a Texas Antiquities Committee travel
ing exhibit, will visit the Star of The Republic
Museum, located in the Washington-on-the-
Brazos Historical Park on FM 1155. Through
April 23. The exhibit includes maps, photo
graphs, drawings and artifacts recovered from
the remnants of three Spanish ships that were
wrecked off the shores of Padre Island in 1554.
