Police said Franck Fontaine, 19, told them the last thing he remem bered was seeing a glowing sphere about the size of a tennis ball by the hood of his car Nov. 26. Authorities were openly skeptical about the possibility of a UFO kid napping and scheduled a court appearance for Fontaine and two friends who reported his disappear ance to further discuss the matter. Officials, however, said Fontaine and his friends, Salomon N’Diaye and Jean-Pierre Prevot, have not varied from their originial state ments. The three said the incident began at 4 a.m. when they were loading a station wagon with clothes they hoped to sell at a market in the town of Gisors.
