Nov. 7, p.m.. Complex Field 14 A.W.T. Swamps Ambassadors Although the Ambassadors didn’t spend a lot of time at their goal, they rallied valiantly against the A.W.T. for a sweep of 23-4. The Ambassadors were at a disadvan tage by having only four persons on the field at a time, and did well in the first half by keeping the score to 5-1 in favor of A.W.T. For the first half, the Ambas sador’s Bruce Wheeless scored after several mascalculated at tempts and overthrows. For A.W.T., Rick Walker was high tal- lier with three points followed by Mark Nelson and John Vick with one point each. As play continued, the ball got slippery and the dramatics of hold ing on to a possible fumble was evi dent as players grimaced, juggled, and used fingertip holds to keep the ball. The second half saw both teams crowded around A.W.T. s goal as A.W.T. racked up 18 points to the Ambassadors three-second half points. For A.W.T., Keith Schnell, John Vick, and Bob Vorlap each cranked up four points. Rick Walker and Randy Sala each scored one point. Jay Robertson, Robert Green and Terry Mitchell of the Ambassadors, each fought to tally one point. Brent Smith also played for the Ambassadors. Daniel R.
