A&M’s entrants will be Dave Og- rin, Steve Bowman, Brad Jones, Doug Ward and Richard Crom well. Basketball Robert Wright, a 6-0 guard from Trinidad (Colo.) Junior College, has signed a scholarship agreement to play basketball at Texas A&M. Wright, who played his high school ball in New York City, set a national junior college record with 22 assists in one game. He averaged 14 points and 8.5 assists per game during his junior college career. Aggie freshman Rudy Woods is playing for the United States bas ketball team which is currently competing for the world cham pionship. The team opened against France last Saturday, played Russia Tuesday, and will play Czechos lovakia Thursday, Israel Sunday and Yugoslavia Friday, May 18. Softball Texas A&M Women’s Softball Team qualified for the AIAW Na tionals by finishing second in the SWAIAW Regional Championship Tournament held in Norman, Okla. The Aggies Ladies went into the tournament seeded second behind number one seeded Texas Women’s University. Pitcher Sami Evans won one (LSU) and lost two (TWU twice) in the tournament while pitcher Shan non Murray won two (Oklahoma twice).
