Spring Art Festival [ Who says oi
Musicians, craftsmen and artisans combined art, friendliness and
merrymaking for the benef it of College Station’s residents during the
city’s Art Festival Saturday. Artists showed their wares at individual
booths in the city’s new Oak Park, on Highway 30. Some demon
strated their crafts while a variety of music-makers performed in the
background. Clint Machann, above, a guitarist and fiddler in the
King’s English String Band, was one of those musicians. J. R. Mathis,
below, passed the time showing how he makes jewelry.
