At 7 p.m. AGGIECON X: “The Exorcist.” (1975) Linda Blair and Lee J. Cobb star in this thriller about a 14-year-old girl who is possessed by a demon and experiences fear and anguish during the attempted exorcism. At 9:10 p.m. AGGIECON X: “Collisions.” (1978) Lily Tomlin, Gilda Radner and Dan Aykroyd star in this combination of animation, song and dance in which the Earth is on a collision course with another planet, and it must be determined whether Earth is worth saving. At 11:15 p.m. AGGIECON X: “Countdown.” James Caan and Robert Duval star in this story about a crash program to send an astronaut to the moon before the Russians do. Saturday, March 31 AGGIECON X: “Stepford Wives.” (1975) Katharine Ross and Paula Prentiss star as two women who try to raise the con- sciousness of women living in a suburb, and make some bizarre discoveries as to how the husbands make their wives so docile. At 7 p.m. AGGIECON X: “Flesh Gordon.” (1974) A re-edited version of the original X-rated film, this depicts Flesh’s struggle to regain the stolen power pasties and destroy the evil sex ray, which is dev astating the Earth. At 9 p.m. AGGIECON X: “Day of the Dolphin.” George C. Scott and Trish Van Devere investigate the behavior of dolphins, especially the possibility for interspecies communication with them. Success results in a conspiracy to use the dolphins to assassinate the President. At 10:20 p.m. AGGIECON X: “The Power.” (1968) George Hamilton and Suzanne Pleshette star in this story about a strange psychokine- tic force that can move objects, direct electricity and control or kill humans, and must be stopped before more are telepathically killed. Tuesday, April 3 AGGIE CINEMA: “Macbeth.” (1972) Roman Polanski directed this film adaptation of Shakespeare’s tale of murder, guilt and re venge. At 8 p.m. in Rudder Theater. TENNIS: The team will host Southern Methodist University at 1:30 p.m. PLANT SCIENCE: The club will hold a meeting at 7:30 p.m. in Room 103 of the Plant Sciences Building. Dottsy Texas recording artist Dottsy will try out her new single, “Try- in’ To Satisfy You,” April 7 when she comes to the Texas Hall of Fame in Bryan. She is one of country music’s rising stars, and continues to satisfy her fans with her original style of music. Dottsy was born in Seguin and has been perform ing since she was 10 years old. Her recording career began in March of 1975 with a single, “Storms Never Last,” and soon after she recorded her first album, “The Sweetest Thing.” focus THE BATTALION COVER When the Society for Creative Anachronisms holds a meeting, it is like a day out of the past.
