State association officials have contacted Howard Shertzer, presi dent of the Brazos Valley Youth Soccer, in their search for an area person to assume the position. Shertzer explained that the as sociate state coach’s main activity would be preparing and presenting soccer clinics for coaches and par ents in the Brazos Valley. At the present time he would primarily be servicing the Brazos Valley Youth Soccer Association in Bryan-College Station, but his territory would also include Grimes and Burleson coun ties at such time as they form soccer clubs.
