Hellriegel chosen
to attend seminar
Dr. Don Hellriegel, head of
Texas A&M University’s Man
agement Department, is one of
five faculty members in the na
tion to be selected to lead the
annual National Seminar of Beta
Gamma Sigma, the national hon
orary fraternity of business ad
ministration.
Hellriegel will attend the
premier gathering of honor stu
dents March 27-29 at the Uni
versity of Virginia. At the meet
ing, the Texas A&M professor
will conduct a 3.5-hour seminar
for 60 of the country’s best busi
ness administration students.
His topic is “Management of
Conflict” and will focus on ways
of dealing with conflict situations
withing organizations. Hellriegel
joined The Texas A&M faculty in
1975.

serve as hosts and hostesses for the
conference, which ends Saturday
morning.

Jill Hall, a senior economics
major, will be a hostess for the sec
ond time. “It’s a blast,’ Hall said.

ing as hosts this year, more than any
previous year, Rice said.
Dom Hartman, a sophmore elec
trical engineering major, will be a
host for tbe first time. Hartman said
he wanted to be “in the hub of ev
erything going on.”

in the Rudder Fountain area
through Saturday to publicize the
conference.
