Gallup favors Carter more than A&M poi

opinion of how President Carter is
handling his job is lower than that of
the rest of the country, according to
a survey taken by three marketing
students.
The three students, Robert Muel
ler, Bobby Merrifield and Janies
Trott, based their survey on a Gal
lup Poll taken in September. The
Gallup Poll represents a cross sec
tion of opinion in the United States.

males. Ten of the students were
members of the Corps of Cadets, 42
were on-campus, and the rest were
off-campus students.
The poll takers tried to get a rep
resentative proportion of each stu
dent group in the survey.

percent of those surveyed disap
proved. Forty-four percent disap
proved in the Gallup Poll. All 10 of
the cadets surveyed disapproved.
