A $2.4 million classroom and laboratory building at Moody College
that was started March 24 is expected to be completed by March
1979, two months ahead of schedule.
Gary Merkel, associate director of the Moody College physical

auditorium, a computer facility, eight laboratories, and administra

“There will be biology, chemistry, graphics, navigation, and
multi-purpose laboratories in the building,” Merkel said.
The office of the Moody College president will be located in the
building, as will the fiscal office, the student records office, and vari
