Lorraine Peterson, manager. 822-7772. isittn United Press International SAN ANTONIO — A 57-year-old man, seeking revenge and operating as if he “just had a job to do,” quietly confronted a chained pris oner on his way to the courtroom to be tried for killing the man’s sons. Juan Rodriguez then pulled out a pistol and fired all six shots at Jimmy Garza, 31 — one of 15 chained pris oners — walked from a paddy wagon to a side door of the Bexar County Courthouse Monday. The shooting finished, Rod riguez, father of two men Garza was accused of killing, dropped his pistol on the courthouse sidewalk and sur rendered. Later in the day he was charged with murder. “He didn’t try to escape or no thing. He just had a job to do and he had done it,” said a deputy. “Then he just put the gun down and gave up.” No other injuries were reported. Garza was being taken to the courthouse to be tried in the shoot ing deaths of Rodriguez’ sons, Al fredo, 32, and Eleodoro, 38, at a bar on Aug. 13, 1977. HELP WANTED SERVICES AVAILABLE DECEMBER.
