BURT REYNOLDS Cricket haters ‘hopping mad’ in California city United Press International FRESNO, Calif. — They’re bugged by too many crickets, so a group of Coalinga Chamber of Com merce representatives asked Gov. Edmund G. Brown Jr., Wednesday for state help in stamping them out. “We have literally been overrun by crickets,” said spokesman George Lacy. “There is not a house, store or office in the town that has not had to sweep piles of crickets out the door almost daily.” The subject came up as Brown prepared to speak to a group of Fresno County cotton growers. Lacy asked for a few moments of the gov ernor's time then read a formal letter detailing the cricket problem. No one has been able to come up with a solution, he said. fupfnamba Eddie Dominguez '66 Joe Arciniega '74 You ve never seen a movie like it _ MARJOE From Warner Bros i irner Communications Company | f 197S WARNER B«OS WC Paramount Picture* Presents Up in MSC Arts Committee Monday September 11 Rudder Theatre $1.00 8:00 p.rrh what’s up?
