Women’s drill
team favored
in state meet
The Texas A&M women s drill
team has the upper hand toward a
state championship repeat.
The Aggies need wins in two out
of three meets to claim the title. The
team won its first meet crown re
cently at the UT-Austin Scabbard
| and Blade Competition.
To become Texas state champs,
the women need a win at either the
Texas A&M meet here April 1, or at
a Trinity University meet in San An
tonio April 22.
The 20-member team com
manded by Susan Graesser of Bryan
placed first in all three phases at the
Austin meet. Combined points from
inspection and basic and fancy drill
determine the meet winner. The
A&M women marched in the un
armed division and competed
against Texas Tech and Lamar Uni
versity teams.
The Coips of Cadets unit is com
posed of Company W-l.

If so, put that degree to work in the United States Air Force.

yours. Then ask about that excellent Air Force salary . . . the
executive experience . . . the worldwide assignments . . . liv
ing quarters ... 30 days of paid vacation a year . . . medical

The bird you see here is known
as a Puffin. A small, thoughtful
resident of Iceland. One of the
first things young Puffins
learn to do is fly Icelandic.
Beginning April 1. 1978.
Icelandic will fly any youth
(Puffin or person) between
12-23 years old roundtrip
from New York to Luxem
bourg for just $400. $430
from Chicago. Return
tickets are good
a full year. Fares

But there’s
more to
Icelandic than just
low fares.
You'll get a great
dinner and excel-
. lent service on
your trip. And
Icelandic will set
you down right in
the middle of
Europe, where
you'll be just hours
away by train from
Europe's most
famous landmarks.
So take a travel tip
from Iceland’s favorite
bird. I .earn to fly Icelandic.
